Beef and dairy: two ways to convert grass into high-quality protein
- Opportunity to earn WSU credits
- Room and board is offered at cost
- Internship (3-6 months), Apprenticeship (up to 2 years)
- Additional educational activities include public school classes in agricultural science and ecological food production, and workshops, demonstrations and farm visits open to the public
- Experience hands-on farm work, study prescribed reading curriculum, write journals, and participate in weekly farm seminars
- Collaborate with WSU research and extension faculty, in writing one major report on a topic of choice
- Hands-on Ecological Farming and Sustainable Living Experience on Lopez Island, WA
